Parish Picnic 2012, Part 1: Worship, then picnic

On Sunday, September 30, 2012, Trinity's worship service took place at the Whippoorwill Club as part of a parish picnic. 



We gathered in a circle outside the pavillion.

The morning was cool and bright.

The children's homily.



After the service at the pavillion, a potluck lunch was served and everybody chowed down! 

 

No one went away hungry, that's for sure!

The day before the picnic, with the help of parishioners Doug Williams and Art Pryor, 120 feet of track was assembled for Fr. Tucker's hand-built railroad pumpcar.

As part of the picnic activities, rides were offered to one and all...



The kids waited impatiently for the pump car to be uncovered!
